During Ww ii in March of 1942 President Roosevelt signed Exec Order 9066, demanding that Japanese-Americans end up being relocated to internment camps (www.ushistory.org). The federal government gave many different reasons as to the reasons the internment of American people of Japan descent during World War II was justifiable. Although their causes may seem valid considering the situations of Ww ii, they were not really. The internment was an unjustifiable infringement of the city rights and constitutional privileges of hundreds of thousands of Japanese-Americans.
Director Roosevelt along with the federal government offered several reasons for the approval of the internment of numerous Japanese-Americans. They believed it had been the objective of the European Defense Command word and Next Army to protect the Pacific Coast against sea, terrain, or air flow attacks. Additionally, they wanted to guard the local institution and communications that were essential to the Countrywide Defense which is why local civilian authorities cannot provide adequate defense (Document 2). Military officials terrifying an breach of the Western Coast and felt as though they had for taking certain safety measures (Document 4).
