Physical possessions are incredibly important to people, and carry high value in society. People work hard every single day of their lives to maintain a certain level of possessions, luxury and essential.

Greed, frustration, power, payback, are just a couple of reasons for a single person to take what is not theirs from another. None of those reasons are good quality's to obtain in your existence. For example a greedy gentleman will take from the innocent even though his pockets already are full, plus the objects he can taken aren't even essential for his endurance. But remember desperate guy trying to steal food, clothing, or standard things he needs to make it through, does not warrant his activities because robbery hurts others. A man searching for power may possibly steal things like land via natives, or money through the people who place him in control of protecting and leading these people. And a person stealing intended for revenge might just do all of the above. Fraud destroyed your reputation, makes people certainly not trust you and may even disown you. It makes it rare a job, and provide you a criminal record at the time you get caught. Accurate trust is something hard in this your life, and robbing just causes people to drive you further and further apart. Hand in hand with stealing is lying, because sooner or after someone will wonder if you were normally the one who took that target, and if you did in that case most likely you are lie about this to avoid getting caught. Lying down and thieving are two sure fire strategies to make people never trust you again.
